Maison Amadis founder Aida Izadpanah is an internationally recognized award winning visual artist based in New York City, with a Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology. Using raw pigments and 24-karat gold, Aida hand paints and kiln fires artisanal, one-of-a-kind, personalized fine porcelain pieces for elegant gifts and home décor. Aida’s creations reflect a profound ethic expressed in her native Persian by the poet Rumi: “Let the beauty we love be what we do.”

I had the good fortune of ordering a hand-painted fine porcelain keepsake box, with raised 24 karat gold for a special friend’s birthday. Maison Amadis products are created and designed by the uber-talented owner/artist Aida Izadpanah. She was kind enough to write a personal message inside the porcelain box for the gift recipient, and designed a beautiful Initial on the front. Aida is the ultimate professional and my order was worked on promptly and delivered on time as promised. Furthermore, the package arrived in a beautifully wrapped and safe box.

We commissioned Aida to paint a porcelain keepsake box as a retirement gift . . . We wanted to get something special that couldn't be found in a store, something meaningful . . . Aida worked closely with us to select a flower and offered guidance on the best shape of the box based upon our flower choice. Additionally, Aida helped us determine the proper wording to add inside the box in addition to the Rumi quote. The end product Aida delivered is exquisite. From the beautiful packaging, to the pamphlet with background on the meaning of the flowers, and images of the process, the whole gift was a masterpiece . . . While the keepsake box serves a purpose, it is a work of art and one of a kind.

Working with Aida was an absolute pleasure. She was kind enough to commission a one-of-a-kind porcelain box in celebration of my mother-in-law's 60th birthday, inscripted with her favorite quote in Farsi.
